Two lost British trekkers have been rescued by local National Park rangers from the Koh Chang jungle after going missing in the Bang Bao area on the west coast.

Organised events include Ultra Trails , which brings over a 1,000 participants to the island every year for gruelling runs through the forests of Salak Phet and over to Wai Chek Beach . Distances range from 13km to an overnight endurance race at 100km.
