Shooting – Koh Chang Sports
Keeping with that adrenalin rush, for those that can’t resist the idea of shooting off a few rounds whilst on holiday, Koh Chang Shooting (Ban Look Chang) is the island’s only gun club. Fully licensed with a multitude of weapons on hand, prices are per set of bullets.
It is located by the sea a few kilometres after Than Mayom Waterfall all the way down the east coast road

Golf, Tennis, Cycling – Koh Chang Sports
For those that feel the need to swing a club or racquet, Koh Chang has two options.
In Klong Son near the ferries, you’ll find a very decent 9 hole pitch and putt course within the grounds of the Blue Haven (formerly Siam Royal View) private villa development – ask at the reception by the entrance for more details.
Meanwhile, for tennis fans, there is a decent asphalt tennis court down the little street opposite the Klong Prao temple. Though closed at You can call ahead and book on 084 892 6992. Currently not open, July 22, may reopen for 22/23 season.
On two wheels, for an enjoyable day, you can guide join the affable Thai guide, Mr Chat, on his bicycle tour around the local area of Klong Son. Run most days, it’s nothing too strenous so the activity will suit all the family, with a maximum number of participants at between 6 and 8. As of July 22, this is currently not open, with no indication of it restarting for 22/23 season.
9 Hole Pitch and Putt Blue Haven

Set of clubs and 10 balls/tees at 150bt. Additional 20bt per ball and 5bt per tee.
9 hole course played in both directions to make 18 in total, playing under the International Pitch and Putt Federation rules. Tee off intervals of 10 minutes and entry to the Beach Club.

Per Person: 200bt for 1 hour including balls and rackets, 400bt with teacher

Single hard court with floodlighting. Cold drinks, towels. Open from 7.00 to 22.00, additional 100bt per hour from 18.00 (lights).
Slow Life Cycling
Per Person: 1,500bt per with transfer
As of July 22, this is currently not open, with no indication of it restarting for 22/23 season.
Day Tours of 4 to 5 hours around the Klong Son area. Itinerary includes the Chinese Temple, fishing village, Thai Temple, Blue Haven Bay area, views from Aiyapura, Klong Son Elephant Camp and Klong Jao Leuam Waterfall.
Gyms – Koh Chang Sports and Fitness
To keep up your fitness regimes, there are several gyms on Koh Chang.
- BB Gym, same owners as the dive school, operate a popular open air one at their center on the left as you leave Lonely Beach.
- Koh Chang Gym sits in one of the long row of shop houses opposite the entrance to Klong Prao Resort, the northern end of that area.
- Larger resorts all have their own in-house facilities.

Two storey open walled gym with bottom floor offering spin bikes, tread mills, cross trainers, weights, Smith machine, Power Cage with barbells and more. Upper storey used for Wii games, Pilates, yoga, aerobics. Small drinks bar with BB Dive Centre next door, complete with pool and chill out areas. Open from 9.00 to 22.00, last entry at 21.00.
