Bangkok Airways, with 4 flights daily, is the only airline that operates from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to Trat Airport, which itself is about an hour from Laem Sok, the mainland pier for Koh Kood.

Boat Connections from Laem Sok Pier to Koh Kood – Flight Arrivals

If you take the morning PG301 flight from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), arriving at Trat Airport (TDX) at 09.20 (09.30 in rainy season though this can be dropped completely), you will connect to Boonsiri’s 1st catamaran departure of the day at 10.45, price 500bt per person and after that, the express boats, Koh Kood Princess at 12.30, 350bt per person or Koh Kut Express at 13.00, 500bt per person.

If you take the PG305 lunchtime flight, arriving at 12.40, you can connect with Boonsiri’s 2nd catamaran departure of the day at 14.20, 500bt per person or the 15.00 Koh Kut Express Speedboat, 600bt per person. The 14.20 catamaran no longer goes via Koh Mak, so now takes only 60 to 70 minutes. The speedboat is direct as before, 70 minutes duration.

Neither the evening PG307 flight, arriving at 17.45 (18.00 in rainy season) nor the new PG309, arriving at 15.45, make any connections to any boats. You will need to stay a night in Trat at one of the many guesthouses or by the pier at the only place, Check and Chill.

To get from Trat Airport to Laem Sok Pier, you will need to pre-book your private transfer as explained below.

Boat Connections to Laem Sok Pier from Koh Kood – Flight Departures

When departing Koh Kood, there are no early boats to make the PG302 morning flight at 10.10.

For the lunchtime PG306 flight leaving at 13.10, you use the Boonsiri morning boat at 09.00 docking at Laem Sok Pier at 10.15.

For the afternoon flight PG310 flight, leaving at 16.25, you can take either the Koh Kut Express speedboat, departing at 13.00, duration an hour, price 600bt or the 2nd daily service from Boonsiri, which leaves at 12.00.

Perhaps now redundant with the addition of the new afternoon flight above, the evening PG308 flight departs at 18.15 (18.30 in rainy season), same boats as connections.

To get from Laem Sok Pier to Trat Airport, you will need to pre-book your private transfer as explained below.
