Flying to Trat Airport for Koh Kood (Laem Sok Pier)

Another option for getting to Koh Kood is to fly from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to Trat Airport and then travel 50 minutes by road to Laem Sok Pier.

Bangkok Airways, with 3 flights daily is the only airline that operates this route.

Flight Arrivals and Boat Connections to Koh Kood

From Trat Airport to Laem Sok Pier

When on its winter timetable from 26/10/25 to 28/3/26, the morning flight PG301 leaves BKK at 08.10 and lands at TDX at 09.10. You can connect to the 10.40 Seudamgo, the 10.45 Boonsiri or the 11.45 Koh Kut Express (via Koh Mak).

The lunchtime flight, PG305, leaves BKK at 12.45 and lands at 13.45. You cannot make the 14.30 Seudamgo and Boonsiri’s boat at 15.00 is cutting things very fine as it will not wait if there are any flight delays. In our opinion, it is best to opt for either the 16.00 Seudamgo or the Koh Kut Express speedboat, same time.

The afternoon flight, PG307, departs at 16.15, arriving at Trat Airport at 17.15. You will not be able to reach the island on the same day so you must stay a night in Trat or near the pier.

From 29/3/26 until 25/10/26, Bangkok Airways runs its summer timetable. PG301 shifts to 09.15 so no problem with the connections as above. PG305 departs an hour earlier at 11.40 arriving at 12.40, so you can connect to the 14.30 Seudamgo (600bt, via Koh Mak, 1.5 hours) or the Boonsiri catamaran (15.00, same price, 1 hour).

The afternoon flight, PG307, is as above.

Boats from Koh Kood and Flight Departures

The morning flight, PG302 leaves from Trat at 09.40 (09.45, 29/3/26 until 25/10/26). As the 1st daily boats off the island are either the 08.30 Seudamgo (via Koh Mak), the 09.00 Koh Kut Express speedboat or the 09.00 Boonsiri, all docking at 10.00, you cannot connect to it.

From 26/10/25 to 28/3/26, PG306 departs at 14.15, so you can use the 10.00 Seudamgo, docking at 11.00 to comfortably make the connection.

Once on the summer timetable, 29/3/26 to 24/10/26, PG306 flight moves to 13.10 so you take the 09.00 Boonsiri or the 09.00 Koh Kut Express speedboat, both 600bt and 1 hour. You could also opt for the 10.00 Seudamgo but it is cutting things a bit fine if there are any delays.

For the afternoon PG308 flight departing at 17.45 (17.50, 29/3/26 until 25/10/26 ), you use the last boats off the island – 13.00 Boonsiri, 13.00 or 14.00 Koh Kut Express speedboats or the Seudamgo mini catamaran at 13.50 docking at 14.50.

In all cases, we can then meet you with a private vehicle to travel the 50 minutes to Trat Airport.

Private Transfer by Car or Minibus between Trat Airport and Laem Sok Pier

From Trat Airport to Laem Sok Pier and the reverse, it is easiest to use private transfers to connect to the different boats.

These private transfers to/from Laem Sok Pier are priced at 1,500bt for a SUV style car ( Fortuner, Mu-X, Pajero) for 2/3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. It’s 1,800bt for a minibus for 4 to 8 persons.

We can organise both the transfer and the connecting boats for you, with our driving meeting passengers at Arrivals at Trat Airport with a name sign or directly off the boats on their return. Journey time is around 50 minutes between the Airport and the pier.

Share Minibus between Trat Airport and Laem Sok Pier

When on the summer timetable (PG305 landing at 12.40), Seudamgo offers a share minibus from Trat Airport to Laem Sok Pier to connect to its 14.30 boat. Boonsiri has the same service using its 15.00 boat. The combined price for both services is 1,000bt per person, including the boat ticket.

When on the winter timetable (PG305 landing at 13.40), Boonsiri‘s service connects to its 15.00 boat but that boat will not wait if the flight is delayed. Instead, they shift you to the 16.00 Seudamgo but you need to pay for the boat again. Seudamgo has its own service too for that 16.00 boat.

The share service is available from Laem Sok Pier back to Trat Airport in both the morning (Boonsiri and Seudamgo) and the afternoon (Seudamgo only). For the morning service, Boonsiri provides a free shuttle from your resort to the departure pier for the 09.00 boat, with the share minibus then connecting you to the PG306 at either 13.10 (summer timetable) or 14.10 (winter timetable). Seudamgo’s service uses its 10.00 boat (all year).

For the afternoon service, Seudamgo collects you from 12.50 onwards from your resort to connect to the 13.50 boat which docks at 14.50. The waiting share minibus then connects you to the PG308 17.45 flight, same price at 1,000bt per person.
