Flying to Trat Airport for Koh Kood (Laem Sok Pier)

Another option for getting to Koh Kood is to fly from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to Trat Airport and then travel 50 minutes by road to Laem Sok Pier.

Bangkok Airways, with 3 flights daily is the only airline that operates this route.

Flight Arrivals and Boat Connections to Koh Kood

From Trat Airport to Laem Sok Pier

The morning flight PG301 leaves BKK at 08.15 and lands at TDX at 09.15 (08.10 25/10/26 until 28/3/27). You can connect to the 10.40 Seudamgo (note: not running 1/6/26 to 30/9/26), the 10.45 Boonsiri or the 11.45 Koh Kut Express.

From 29/3/26 to 24/10/26, the lunchtime flight, PG305, leaves BKK at 11.40 and lands at 12.40, so you can connect to the 14.30 Seudamgo or the 15.00 Boonsiri. For the winter tiemtable, it switches to 12.45 departure and 13.45 arrival. You cannot make the 14.30 Seudamgo and Boonsiri’s boat at 15.00 is cutting things very fine as it will not wait if there are any flight delays. In our opinion, it is best to opt for either the 16.00 Seudamgo or Koh Kut Express mini catarmaran.

The afternoon flight, PG307, departs at 16.15, arriving at Trat Airport at 17.15. You will not be able to reach the island on the same day so you must stay a night in Trat or near the pier.

Boats from Koh Kood and Flight Departures

The morning flight, PG302 leaves from Trat at 09.45 (09.40, 25/10/26 until 28/3/27). As the 1st daily boats off the island are either the 08.30 Seudamgo (via Koh Mak but not from 1/6/26 to 30/9/26), the 09.00 Koh Kut Express mini catamaran or the 09.00 Boonsiri, all docking at 10.00, you cannot connect to it.

On the summer timetable, 29/3/26 to 24/10/26, PG306 flight departs at 13.10 so you take the 09.00 Boonsiri or the 09.00 Koh Kut Express mini catamaran, both 600bt and 1 hour. From 25/10/26 to 28/3/27, the flight moves to 14.15, so you can also use the 10.00 Seudamgo, docking at 11.00 – that comfortably makes the connection.

For the afternoon PG308 flight departing at 17.50 (17.45, 25/10/26 until 28/3/27), you use any of the last daily boats off the island – 13.00 Boonsiri, 13.00 Koh Kut Express speedboat or 14.00 Koh Kut Express mini catamaran or the Seudamgo mini catamaran at 13.50 docking at 14.50. Note neither of the Koh Kut Express boats run from 1/6/26 to 30/9/26.

In all cases, we can then meet you with a private vehicle to travel the 50 minutes to Trat Airport.

Private Transfer by Car or Minibus between Trat Airport and Laem Sok Pier

From Trat Airport to Laem Sok Pier and the reverse, it is easiest to use private transfers to connect to the different boats.

These private transfers to/from Laem Sok Pier are priced at 1,500bt for a SUV style car ( Fortuner, Mu-X, Pajero) for 2/3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. It’s 1,800bt for a minibus for 4 to 8 persons.

We can organise both the transfer and the connecting boats for you, with our driving meeting passengers at Arrivals at Trat Airport with a name sign or directly off the boats on their return. Journey time is around 50 minutes between the Airport and the pier.

Share Minibus between Trat Airport and Laem Sok Pier

If arriving on PG301, Boonsiri runs share minibus to connect to the 10.45 boat, 1,000bt per person all-in.

When on the summer timetable from 29/3/26 to 24/10/26, with PG305 landing at 12.40, Seudamgo offers a share minibus from Trat Airport to Laem Sok Pier to connect to its 14.30 boat, 1,000bt per person all-in. Boonsiri has the same service using its 15.00 boat.

Once on the winter timetable from 25/10/26 to 28/3/27, with PG305 moving to a 13.45 arrival, Boonsiri‘s service connects to its 15.00 boat but that boat will not wait if the flight is delayed. Instead, they shift you to the 16.00 Seudamgo but you need to pay for the boat again. Seudamgo has its own service too for that 16.00 boat.

The share service is available from Laem Sok Pier back to Trat Airport in both the morning (Boonsiri) and the afternoon (Seudamgo). For the morning service, Boonsiri provides a free shuttle from your resort to the departure pier for the 09.00 boat, with the share minibus then connecting you to the PG306 at either 13.10 (summer timetable) or 14.10 (winter timetable).

For the afternoon service, Seudamgo collects you from 12.50 onwards from your resort to connect to the 13.50 boat which docks at 14.50. The waiting share minibus then connects you to the PG308 17.45/17.50 flight.
