Another option for getting to Koh Kood is to fly from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to Trat Airport and then travel 50 minutes by road to Laem Sok Pier.
Bangkok Airways, with 2 flights daily, is the only airline that operates this route.

Flight Arrivals and Boat Connections to Koh Kood
From Trat Airport to Laem Sok Pier
When on its summer timetable from 31/3/24 to 26/10/24, Bangkok Airways’s lunchtime flight, PG305, leaves BKK at 11.40 and lands at 12.40. You can make the 14.20 Boonsiri catamaran or the 14.45 Seudamgo mini-catamaran, both 600bt and 1 hour. From 1/10/24, Seudamgo restarts is 16.00 boat so you can use that as a fallback.
From 27/10/24 until around 30/3/25, the airline moves to its winter timetable with the PG305 departing at 12.40 arriving at 13.40. Boonsiri then moves its boat to 14.40 but that is still cutting it very fine as it will not wait if there are any flight delays – best to opt for the 16.00 Seudamgo as above.
The afternoon flight, PG307, departs at 16.15, arriving at Trat Airport at 17.15 – all year. You will not be able to reach the island on the same day so you must stay a night in Trat or near the pier.
Boats from Koh Kood and Flight Departures
To connect to the lunchtime PG306 flight departing at 13.10 (summer timetable, 31/3/24 to 26/10/24), you take the 09.00 Boonsiri or the 10.00 Seudamgo, both 600bt and 1 hour, though the Seudamgo is cutting things a bit fine if there are any delays. Once on the winter timetable from 27/10/24, the PG306 departs at 14.10 so the 10.00 Seudamgo works very well.
From 1/7/24 to 30/9/24, if taking the afternoon PG308 flight departing at 17.50, you use the last boat off the island, Seudamgo at 12.30, docking at 13.30, 600bt 1 hour. That’s some wait but there is no other option. From 1/10/24, Seudamgo restarts its later boat at 13.50 (via Koh Mak) docking at 15.20. The 13.00 Koh Kut Express speedboat, 1 hour and 600bt, also restarts in early October.
In all cases, we can then meet you with a private vehicle to travel the 50 minutes to Trat Airport.

Private Transfer by Car or Minibus between Trat Airport and Laem Sok Pier
From Trat Airport to Laem Sok Pier and the reverse, it is easiest to use private transfers to connect to the different boats.
These private transfers to/from Laem Sok Pier are priced at 1,500bt for a SUV style car (Innova, Fortuner, Pajero) for 2/3 adults or 2 adults and 2/3 children. It’s 1,800bt for a minibus for 4 to 8 persons.
We can organise both the transfer and the connecting boats for you, with our driving meeting passengers at Arrivals at Trat Airport with a name sign or directly off the boats on their return. Journey time is around 50 minutes between the Airport and the pier.

Payment for the private transfer is either in THB cash on the day or with an initial deposit via Wise, Revolut, Thai bank transfer or PayPal invoice (with processing charges). No need for a PayPal account, you can use a credit or debit card.
You then pay the balances due in THB cash on the day, all fully agreed beforehand.
Payment for the boat tickets is upfront, their cost added to the same transfer/invoice as the deposit. Or we can take THB cash for them too on the day, paid to the driver.
Share Minibus between Trat Airport and Laem Sok Pier
When on the summer timetable (PG305 landing at 12.40), Boonsiri offers a share minibus from Trat Airport to Laem Sok Pier to connect to its 14.20 boat. The combined price is 1,000bt per person, including the boat ticket.
When on the winter timetable (PG305 landing at 13.40), Seudamgo’s has the same service to connect to its 16.00 boat. Boonsiri moves its boat from 14.20 to 14.40 but even then, that will not wait if the flight is delayed. Instead, they shift you to the 16.00 Seudamgo but you need to pay for the boat again.
The share service is available from Laem Sok Pier back to Trat Airport in both the morning (Boonsiri) and in high season only, the afternoon (Seudamgo). For the morning service, Boonsiri provides a free shuttle from your resort to the departure pier for the 09.00 boat, with the share minibus then connecting you to the PG306 13.10 (or the 14.10 winter timetable) lunchtime flight back to BKK.
For the afternoon service, Seudamgo collects you from 12.50 onwards from your resort to connect to the 13.50 boat which docks at 15.20. The waiting share minibus then connects you to the PG308 17.50 flight, same price at 1,000bt per person. This does not run 1/7/24 to 30/9/24.
