Bang Bao Beach resorts on Koh Kood are a terrific mix of 3/4 star boutiques alongside a couple of mid-range bungalow operations, traveller huts, a guesthouse and a homestay.
The beach itself is one of the Koh Kood’s most attractive spots with a picture postcard bay, clear blue waters and a lovely stretch of sand.
Prices given are for peak season (but not the Xmas/New Year period) via booking sites, not the hotel websites. They are intended as guides only.

On the Beach – Bang Bao Beach Resorts and Bungalows
At the northern end, Koh Kood Resort offers garden view and seaview bungalows ranging from from 4,200bt to 6,100bt.
Next door, garden view cottages at the chic The Beach Natural Resort start from 7,000bt moving through 15,000bt for the standard villa and then all the way up to 23,800bt for its deluxe two bedroom pool villas.
Alongside The Beach Natural Resort, To The Sea Resort, up on the hill, complete with magnificent ocean views and an infinity pool, has a range of rooms and villas, rates between 2,500bt to 5,300bt a night.
The ever improving Siam Beach Resort sits in the middle of the beach, with its various styles of bungalows and cabanas starting at 3,300bt and running through to 4,500bt a night.
Sand and Sea over on the southern headland offers a handful of fan rooms with shared bathroom or small basic huts from 500bt to 1,000bt.

Good restaurant, Deck Bar, tiered swimming pool, lounge area, massage sala, with their own pier. Wakeboarding, boat trips (Mareblue and Maresol), diving.

Next door to Koh Kood Resort and perhaps the premier choice of the Bang Bao Beach resorts, this is a large boutique affair with a/c Bali styled bungalows or family rooms, pool villas, beach villas, deluxe villas, luxury cottages back on the hillside and more besides. Blue Coral Restaurant, kayaks, wifi, their own pier. Minimum stay of 3 nights in peak at premium rates.
To The Sea Resort

Running from the middle of the beach to the southern end, fan and a/c bungalows in various styles, with the cheaper style at the far end. Great evening bbq, small beach bar, Hidden Gem @ Monkey Bar, their own pier. WiFi. Always a couple of songthaew taxis on hand for island excursions, BB Divers shop out back. Improving year on year.

On the southern headland, accessed by an intriguing wooden bridge or the back route from Ao Takian Beach. Motley collection of simple fan bungalows with bathroom or rooms in two storey building with shared bathroom. Small cafe restaurant. Secluded.
Other Bang Bao Beach Resorts and Bungalows
About a kilometre down the access road to Koh Kood Resort and Natural Beach Resort, you’ll find the stylish Koh Kood BED’s. In its single storey building, it serves up a handful of large a/c deluxe rooms at 5,500bt per night.
Continue to the end of this same road and you reach Jasmin Garden, which sits above its own cove on the coast behind. It’s a charmingly designed boutique style resort of just a few rooms, 4,500bt to 6,000bt a night in peak season with the premier villa at 11,000bt.
Up by the main road at the start of the Siam Beach access road, Baan Suan Homestay completes the picture with 6 different style rooms in a nicely kept garden, prices at 2,500bt for a standard double a/c style – it’s normally booked (but not exclusively) as packages for Thai groups.

Under new management from 22/23 season, in the far northern area of Bang Bao Beach on its own little cove (with snorkeling), small boutique resort of just 4 bungalows (all Asian themed – Japanese, Chinese, Thai , Bali) and a special seafront villa. WiFi, breakfast. Very peaceful and private, 10 minutes walk to the beach proper.
