Yacht Charter – Sailing around the Koh Chang Islands

Yacht Charter – Sailing off Koh Chang

Yacht Charter in the Koh Chang Islands has become quietly popular over the last few years, as more and more people discover this wonderful area on the eastern side of the Gulf of Thailand.

The sailing grounds extend out among the 52 inhabited and mostly uninhabited islands which make up the archipelago, with superb peaceful anchorages along the way, all charted and mapped.

You can explore the tiny islands with just a couple of resorts like Koh Wai and Koh Laoya, the Marine Park area at Koh Rang or Koh Bai Daeng and uninhabited spots at Koh Klum and Koh Ngam among many others.

Those aside, you can also head shore at Koh Mak, sleepy and laid back as ever and of course, Koh Kood, only a bit smaller than Koh Chang but with nothing like the same development.

The yacht charter normally commences from Koh Chang, either leaving from the marina at Siam Royal View in Klong Son on the west coast or from Salak Phet bay in the south east corner of the island. All provisioning can be arranged as needed.

To meet these increasing demand, there are now a number of excellent vessels available for either bareboat or skippered yacht charter. We have teamed up with a new company based in the Siam Royal View, SV Ocean, who offer selection of different sized boats to suit each requirement.

Please do contact us for further information or if you would like to put together a yacht charter.

Below is a snippet introduction to the yachts – we can supply full specs of each vessel, check date availability and go into more detail on request.
